I hope if your reading this, you saw the Grammy awards tonight. Otherwise, you might want to go hunt down a clip of the performance and then revert back here.
Yes, I bought her new c.d. and yes, I found tonight's Grammy performance the ultimate proof that Madonna is the ultimate artist. I know: the reinvention queen, standard music, whatever. The new c.d. is proof that she can look back to where she started, in a non-'Jenny-fromtheblock' way and can release another hit c.d. reflecting those roots.
Tonights performance, with the Gorillaz, was enough to convince me that Madonna isn't done yet. As critics tear her to shreds, and non-pop music fans tear up her reputation, I think, will your 'Nickleback' crap ever reach this many records and sales...and on the basis of one person? I think not.
After Evita, I was sold on her superstardom(and real talent)...so come on, get on the bandwagon...or else in fifty years you are going to look like the 'dud' who didn't listen.
