old friends, new acquaintances.

I am not sure if I have mentioned this before, but I have a very competetive personality. For some reason this includes all aspects of my life... I cannot sit down to a friendly game of cards without feeling the need to drive to win (even if it is against my 8 year old cousin). I have been known to read the rule book before continuing play in hopes that I will find the loophole to make me the winner.... a bad quality, I know.

Regardless...tonight I had the opportunity to dine with an old friend of mine, one who I hadn't seen (or have seen sporadically since) highschool. So we picked our favorite restaurant (mongolian grill) and gourged ourselves into buffet heaven. Of course, for two pop culture junkies like ourselves, the night wouldn't have been complete without a quick round of 'Scene it: Pop Culture II'...

Some questions that threw me:
'From 1998-2003, the most popular name for baby boys in Texas was?'
AND
'This rock group was underfire after pyrotechnic difficulties at a Rhode Island show lead to the deaths of nearly 100'

G'ahead...try...

Regardless, this is what cost me the game, but in my eyes, I am still the winner.
Funny Quotes from the night:
-' I took a summer course in mistification... yes, I now mist female dancers before they hit the stage...'- 'what else do you do there' - ' I tassle nipples, this that and the other...'
- 'don't they understand, you can just become funny overnight...'
-'go mongo, yes, we're catching it on'

Seriously, it is so random... I will disclose it:

Jose!

I just found it odd that it was this and not like 'George W'
