Valentine's day, since childhood, has taken on a whole new meaning. No, I am not going to sit here and rant about my hate (or love) for this holiday...instead I am going to take one second to think about how much fun it was when I was little.
My favorite part of Valentine's day was picking out the valentine's day cards (normally 90's themed (see previous post for examples)) and addressing them to the kids in my classes. I would be lying if I said I didn't miss this 'cheesy' aspect to this day, and I hate that so many people have turned their back on this holiday.
Nicole does a wonderous job of outlining my like for this holiday, because yes...it would be a lie for all of us to say that you don't want someone to shop for you, pamper you, or even surprise you on a snowy day in the middle of february.
On that note, I will leave you to ponder your own thoughts on this day and after really reviewing the fact that it is 24 hours dedicated to love and emotion, and you still hate it....comment away.(unless you got card as crappy as this, then I truly understand your hate for this day. lol)

I wish I had of got a valentine this year. Oh well, maybe next year I will remember to send one to myself.
I saw RENT last night and it ROCKED my world!! i cried :( and i can't get that "525 600 minutes" song out of my head!! I LOVE IT
